SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 5, 2020 — Invoca, the leader in AI-powered call tracking and conversational analytics, today announced that Michael DiFilippo has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. The new addition to the executive team follows the company announcing a $56 million round of financing in late 2019.
"As Invoca enters our next stage of growth, we are excited to have a new CFO guide our strategy and scale operations," said Gregg Johnson, CEO of Invoca. "Michael brings deep SaaS expertise to Invoca, with over 30 years of finance experience. He has a proven track record with high growth private companies like MuleSoft (pre-IPO) and AppDirect, as well as more mature, public companies like Citrix."
DiFilippo joins Invoca from enterprise SaaS unicorn AppDirect, where he served as CFO and Chief Administrative Officer and helped the company double revenue while simultaneously improving cash flow. Previously, he served as head of finance and business development for the SaaS division of Citrix Systems, where he helped lead the $1.8 billion spinoff and merger with LogMeIn and was CFO during the formative growth years at MuleSoft, which later went public and was acquired by Salesforce in 2018.
His expertise in guiding high-growth SaaS companies is a crucial addition as Invoca expands its relationships with leading consumer brands, including:
DiFilippo added, "Invoca is an innovative leader in marketing technology and conversational analytics, and has an amazing set of customers like DISH Network, University Hospitals, and SunTrust Bank (now Truist). I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to create shareholder value for investors and employees, and I welcome the chance to join a company that has been recognized two years in a row as an Inc. Magazine Best Workplace." DiFilippo will lead the finance team, along with operational teams in legal, business systems, facilities, and IT.
