Q: We want to share some of the successes you've had in your career! Do you mind talking about your career progression and some of the highlights?
I started my first company at 12, breeding and selling mice to pet stores. It was horrible, but I learned business fundamentals like accounting, marketing, and customer relationships while discovering more about myself and my future aspirations.

I believe more than ever, data-driven marketing must be front and center. The days of creative-led marketing are over.

Q: What advice would you give to other marketers looking to better align their teams with contact center or sales teams?
Marketing and sales, as well as customer service, should no longer be viewed as separate departments. They all work together, or they don't…
Q: Could you describe a successful initiative where marketing and sales/contact center teams worked together using Invoca data?
Phone interactions are a critical part of our customer journey - they're often the first real conversation we have with prospects. Our online scheduling works well, but there's something powerful about that initial human connection over the phone. These conversations give us incredible insights into what customers are really looking for and how they think about our services. By the time our sales team sits down with them in their homes, we already understand their mindset and can tailor our approach accordingly. It's that early intelligence gathering that helps us communicate our value more effectively throughout the entire sales process.
Q: How has Invoca changed the way you collaborate with your contact center or sales teams?
Invoca has allowed us to build different conversion analytics that previously would not have been possible. The "conversion" formula is more complex than ones and zeros. There are variables beyond channel, messaging, creative, and offer that need to be considered.

Q: How do you see the relationship between digital marketing and contact centers/sales evolving in the next few years?
I believe the data will continue to blend into a more cohesive ecosystem where silos are broken down and the shared data will lead to better customer experiences. Conversations are valuable on many levels but more than ever, we are now able to connect conversations with specific Marketing data.
Creating Seamless Customer Experiences with AI
Q: How can AI help companies create a seamless and personalized customer experience across different channels, and what are some key examples you've seen work?
AI can help with data exploration and the discovery of patterns. Transcribed voice data is incredibly useful in determining what occurs within conversations and how these variables lead to positive and negative outcomes alike. Additionally, with LLMs writing and creating content of all kinds, using data as a driver is incredibly fast and easy, allowing us to test faster.
Measuring Marketing Impact
Q: How do you measure and communicate the revenue impact of your marketing initiatives to leadership? Which metrics have proven most compelling?
Our KPI's are very standard. That being said, our ability to report on our KPI's in real time is not standard. Speed is our superpower. Not only reporting capabilities, but also the ability to move quickly to maximize effectiveness.
Unexpected Use Cases
Q: What surprises or unexpected use cases have happened as a result of having Invoca data at your fingertips?
I am surprised how many people call us instead of booking an online appointment, even when visiting our website via a digital marketing channel.

Life Beyond Work
Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?
I love hanging out with my awesome family. My son and daughter are very cool teenagers, and my wife is an amazing yoga instructor. We love to ski and travel together.
