The following Registration Terms and Conditions apply to Invoca Summit 2019.
By registering and completing the transaction, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the Invoca Summit 2019 Terms and Conditions.
AGE, ADMITTANCE AND SOLICITING: This event is open to business professionals 21 years and over only. Invoca may request a business card and photo ID prior to admission and reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from the event. Event admission is subject to venue capacity and age restrictions in compliance with state and local laws. Age restrictions are specific to each venue. We want everyone to enjoy Invoca Summit 2019 unencumbered by jerky or offensive behavior. We also reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the event anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the event or to any other attendee. “Suitcasing” or “outboarding” is strictly prohibited at Invoca Summit 2019. We reserve the right to escort any individual from Invoca Summit 2019 if they are reported to be soliciting. The views or opinions expressed by any event attendee, speaker or sponsor are not necessarily our views or opinions. All event attendees, speakers and sponsors are responsible for their own content (including presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content).
PARTICIPATION: You understand that participating in the Conference is voluntary and may involve certain risks of physical injury, damage to property, and other damages are losses that you may sustain. You assume all risk of damages, property loss, and personal injury which may occur by participating in the events.
PROGRAM: While we endeavor to deliver the conference program as published, Invoca reserves the right to make any changes it deems fit to the conference program. Occasionally speakers may cancel and/or topics may change and no guarantee is given that any given speaker or topic in the program will take place.
CANCELLATION: You will receive a full refund if you cancel before September 22 2019. From September 22 2019 until October 4 2019, you can cancel your registration for a 50% refund of the registration fee you paid. On or after October 5, 2019, you cannot cancel your registration, and we will not provide a refund of the registration fee you paid (regardless of whether or not you attend Invoca Summit 2019). Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations. And don't worry: when we say 'registration' above, we mean both your Invoca Summit 2019 pass and/or your registration for any optional training sessions.
TRANSFER: If you cannot attend, but know someone who really wants to be there, you can transfer your ticket to them for free. Should you need to transfer your ticket, please email: email@example.com and provide additional details here on what we need to transfer the tickets. Hotel rooms do not automatically transfer with registration so be sure to update that as well.
PURCHASE: Once you complete your purchase, the rate is considered final and will not be adjusted later. Lost or stolen badges will not be replaced. A new badge will need to be purchased for continued access to conference events, including parties and conference content. Invoca will not issue refunds for badges that have been revoked. Invoca reserves the right to revoke a badge for any reason.
PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO, AND VIDEO RECORDING Invoca Summit is held in a public space, so we don’t prohibit participants, sponsors, news organizations and other companies from photographing or video or audiotaping some event activities. We reserve the right to use images taken at the event with your photograph and/or likeness. By attending Invoca Summit 2019, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness and/or presentation recorded. We can use these recordings how we choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation (e.g., in our press releases, marketing materials or other publications). These recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights which we own or license. So, other than for your personal use, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.
LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT SHALL Invoca BE LIABLE TO REGISTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF CUSTOMER’S USE OF THE REGISTRATION AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENTS, EVEN IF Invoca HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
INDEMNIFICATION: Registrant agrees to indemnify and hold Invoca and its officers, employees, volunteers, and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, demands and all other liabilities, including, but not limited to, costs and attorneys’ fees, made by any third party arising out of or in connection with Registrant’s use of the registration(s) or violation of the Terms.
GOVERNING LAW: The Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its principles of conflicts of laws. Registrant and Invoca hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United States federal and state courts located in Santa Clara, California and agrees that any such court will be the proper forum for the determination of any dispute arising hereunder.
If you do not agree with these Registration Terms and Conditions, you should not register for Invoca Summit 2019.
