Herriman to scale engineering team and infrastructure to support continued triple digit percentage growth in Invoca’s call intelligence platform
SANTA BARBARA, Calif – Jan. 14, 2015 – Invoca, the call intelligence company, today announced the promotion of Scott Herriman to senior vice president of engineering, reporting to co-founder and CTO Colin Kelley. Herriman has played a prominent role in the ongoing product innovation and dedication to customer success that has supported the rapid adoption and use of the Invoca platform, growing call volume at over 337 percent since 2012.
Invoca has converted $3.1 billion in sales and routed more than 100 million calls through its platform as of Q3 2014, with inbound call volume more than doubling year-over-year. As SVP of engineering, Herriman will create and manage specialized engineering teams to support Invoca’s extraordinary growth and expansion into new markets. He will also continue to scale Invoca’s infrastructure to accommodate more customers, calls, products, and integrations with key marketing technology platforms as Invoca continues its innovation and triple digit platform growth rate.
Herriman joined Invoca as a founding team member and was employee number one when the company was founded in 2008. During his time as vice president of engineering, he has managed product development, quality assurance, production support, and engineers. He has grown the engineering team by 20 percent year-over-year and more than doubled the team in 2014.
Herriman continues to bring in-depth knowledge and technology experience to Invoca. He managed the development of Invoca Signal, a patent-pending voice intelligence technology, that launched in 2014. The code he wrote in 2008 is still being used to power phone calls today. Prior to joining Invoca, Herriman served as software architect at Global IP Solutions and technical manager at CallWave.
“Scott has led our development team from day one with his signature mix of technical vision and skill, and has played a critical role in building and sustaining the company’s infrastructure,” said Colin Kelley, co-founder and CTO of Invoca. “He’s proven himself to be an outstanding technology leader and continues to be instrumental in Invoca’s incredible growth.”
Invoca, which recently announced the addition of a new CFO to the leadership team, has been named one of Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies, the Hottest Companies in Southern California and the Central Coast’s fastest-growing company.
